Introducing Tim Watts
Hi All,
I’d like to introduce Tim Watts who is about to post his first post to this blog. Â Tim is helping out the Taskforce as an observer. Â Last year he joined Steven Conroy’s office and since earlier this year has been working in John Brumby’s office. Â This meant he was unable to participate, but having just joined Telstra, he is available to give us some of his thoughts as an observer and has already drafted an excellent post for this blog. Both Tim and Telstra understand that he is not representing Telstra in any of his dealings with us. Â In addition to his policy experience, Tim has also completed a Masters Degree from the London School of Economics and Politics where his thesis focused on the emergence of Web 2.0, the formation of online communities of interest using Web 2.0 tools, and their impact on the political discourse.

This isnt Tim Watts the lawyer by any chance? Also, interesting to note the Govt 2.0 Taskforce website doesn’t validate….. there are only a few errors, but come on now…… surely its about time we started to use compliant markup at least in Taskforce and Govt websites? Its not that hard – really!
Yes Bob, I was a lawyer in a previous life…
Ahh…. not the Tim Watts i was thinking of…… coincidence though…. how many Tim Watts could be at the bar?
